Listen, girl, I know they look cute and flattering(honestly I understand!) but they are definitely not modest and modest outfits hijab appropriate because they show your entire shape.
You can’t make it modest even if you throw on an open abaya or an oversized shirt.
You could buy dresses that are flowier they’ll make you feel like a hijabi princess trust me you’ll seriously feel like one!
Remember you are precious and valuable and everything precious is hidden. You wouldn’t walk around holding £10,000 in your hand, would you?
2# SHEER/ SEE-THROUGH CLOTHING
Sometimes certain modest wear hijab looks seem alright but when you’re exposed to different lighting you realise it’s sheer.
I’ve had that happen to me so many times, IT’S A HEADACHE! So a modest outfits hijab tip for you is to always double-check your clothes in different lighting. “Better safe than sorry sis!”
3# SUPER LOW NECK DRESSES/TOPS
Here we’re talking about if you bent down to pick up a pen from the floor would you be able to see your cleavage?
So, to solve that always wear a top underneath like a turtleneck top or find modest dresses hijab friendly and tops that cover your chest. Trust me, there are so many cute styles like ruffles and frills.
4# WAIST-CROPPED TOPS
Avoid wearing tops that are cropped even if you’re wearing high-waisted pants. It avoids wardrobe malfunctions( I wouldn’t want that for you).
Unless you’re wearing a long dress underneath or a flowy skirt then that’s fine.
If you’re wearing pants that aren’t covering your butt it isn’t modest outfits hijab approved. I’m talking about every body shape from curvacious to straight.

Is hijab supposed to cover all hair?
Yes!
You shouldn’t be able to see a strand of hair.
I’ve had an up-and-down journey with hijab, at some point I would show a bit of hair at the front it made me feel good. But honestly covering it is just the same in fact it actually puts noor(light) on your face.
Can curvy girls wear baggy clothes?
Yes!
A tip for you is when buying oversized clothing make sure it’s your size. That way it’s modest and it’s oversized according to your body type.
If you’re petite you wouldn’t want to get a large size you’ll be drowning in it.

Skinny jeans are designed to be tight-fitted and are definitely not hijab friendly so I would advise you to avoid them. Try wide-leg jeans instead, they’re cuter and elegant.
