Cute Hijab Styles For School
Before we begin this is what you will need:
- A chiffon hijab
- A matching hijab cap
- Hijab pins
- A beanie
- A baseball cap
What hijab material should I choose?
When it comes to hijab material if you don’t know what is best for you just experiment. Start by trying out chiffon and jersey hijabs to create your hijab styles for school. Chiffons give you that flowy look and the jersey is a stretchy material.
For me personally, chiffon is THE ONE but sometimes I wear a jersey hijab because the material is non-slip and it’s just those quick ones if you get what I mean.
Okay, enough of me waffling here are the simple hijab styles for school…
Hijab Style 1
I’m sure out of all the hijab styles for school you know of, you always wear that ONE. Usually, it’s quick, easy and cute that’s why right? This hijab style is my go-to everyday one. It takes seconds to put on and I feel cute in it.
STEP 1: Wear a hijab cap ( look for bamboo caps they are so comfortable and protect your hairline)
STEP 2: Put on your chiffon hijab and divide it into one short length and one long length.
STEP 3: Frame your face with your hijab. We all have different face shapes just move the hijab around to find what you feel best in.
STEP 4: Grab the long side wrap it under the short side and drape it over your shoulder.
STEP 5: Pin your hijab in place, you can pin it on top or two pins on the side. (Get pins with no pearls on or like I do just bite the pearl off haha)
Hijab Style 2
If you’ve never worn a matching cap with your hijab styles for school you should try it out. When I started matching my hijab and hijab caps that elevated my hijab outfits SO MUCH!
STEP 1: Wear a hijab cap
STEP 2: Frame your face with your hijab. Play around with the position until you are happy
STEP 3: Get one long side and one short side
STEP 4: Grab the short side and throw it over your shoulder
STEP 5: Drape the long side across your chest and over your shoulder. So both are draping over the same shoulder to give a cute modest and flowy look.

IMPORTANT: Before you put your hijab on, put your hair in a low bun so the cap or beanie can go on. It also gives that cute low bun look.
STEP 1: Put your hijab on and bring both pieces over your chest. The lengths should be equal. No hijab cap is needed.
STEP 2: Bring your hijab more forward because the excess material will really help give you that flowy look.
STEP 3: Put on your cap or beanie and adjust your hijab fringes to frame your face well.
Hijab Style 4
As you can tell I love flowy hijab styles, they’re so elegant and I feel prettier in them. Maybe it’s the way it frames my face. They’re perfect if you want more elegant hijab styles for school.
STEP 1: Wear your hijab cap and hijab. You need one short length and one long length. Adjust your hijab fringes to frame your face.

For the longest time, I avoided tight hijab styles because I felt like I wouldn’t look good in them. But I kinda just played around with it ensuring I framed my face according to my face shape and I actually like it.
You should definitely try this look for your hijab styles for school. It suits A LOT of different outfits whether that’s a suit or an abaya or a hoodie.
STEP 1: Grab your hijab and divide it into a short length and a long length.
STEP 2: Fold your hijab around your face, framing it. I have the fold at my temples because that suits my face shape but play around with the length of the fold according to your face shape.
STEP 3: Pinch the two pieces together under your chin to lock that fold in place.
STEP 4: Whilst still pinching the two pieces grab the longer piece and drape it over your head.
STEP 5: Then tuck the smaller excess material just at your jaw. Finally, adjust your hijab around your face. This part is needed for it to look neat and cute.
