Picking out modest outfits for Winter can be a PAIN! It’s freezing outside and no one wants to be constantly hugging themselves for warmth because they’ve compromised their survival to look good.
Listen up my modest girls, you’re doing it all wrong, you can be comfy and at the same time look drippy and stylish (whatever you want to call it) too.
I’m going to prep you for another beautiful season with 5 stylish yet comfy modest outfits you can wear for pretty much any occasion whether that’s to work, college or a fancy restaurant.
Modest outfits you need for winter
1.
I am literally obsessed with modest knitwear sets, how can I not be? They’re super comfy and cute. If you excuse how I tied my bow it’s not the best but I know you can do better.
This outfit consists of two-piece knitwear and I just threw on a cream long cardigan that matches exactly with the neutral tones. You can’t go wrong with neutrals! If you want you can wear just a two-piece set with a nice fluffy coat.
You won’t look like a balloon trust me, it definitely keeps you warm just make sure when you are buying one it’s thick. My top tip there for you.
2.
Yes, this modest outfit is the same set as the first one however, we’re in all brown now with a matching hijab of a different shade of brown. Isn’t it crazy how by just changing the colour it’s a whole new outfit with a different mood?
I just love the different striped pattern effects and the cuffed balloon sleeves. You can pair this outfit with a cute trench coat, fluffy or puffer coat and some cute boots.

Modest outfit Number 3! It’s a cute long knitted dress that is actually modest and it’s not extremely tight. Once again we’ve got striped patterns and cute balloon sleeves that just add an element of elegance.
Now just combine the dress with a warm fluffy coat of your choice and some winter boots and ta-dah! You’ve got a classy and elegant outfit for your winter outings.
Don’t stop there to add that extra OOMPH just throw on some accessories- jewellery or a cute beanie. For my hijabis, you can style your hijab with a cute beanie not only does it add that extra layer of warmth it elevates your look.
4.
We’ve got an all-black outfit and you can never go wrong with black. I mean for my hijabis we all know our go-to easy choice is black hijab. But try out a different colour hijab with black that too would look good because black goes with anything.
To top it all off throw on a leather trench coat, a coat of your choice or a long black knitted cardigan with cute boots or trainers. Add a bit of gold jewellery for that classy look and you’re good to go.
5.
The colour combination I have gone for is navy blue contrasting with white. A tip for you is don’t be scared to go outside the box, contrasting colours make your outfit stand out and let’s be honest less boring as well.
It took me a while before I decided I’m going to wear a white hijab but once I did I loved it. It’s a huge MYTH that certain skin tones suit white, that’s complete rubbish it suits every skin tone out there. If you haven’t tried one on yet I urge you to.
The hardest part of modest clothes in winter is how am I going to match a coat with it. Opt for a coat that’s a neutral colour like white or black they won’t take away the limelight from your modest outfits.
Final note
It could be tricky deciding on modest outfits for winter but it doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Experimenting with different styles and colour combinations along with layering can help you come up with unique but stylish modest outfits.
Neutrals are awesome because they really easy to put together but hey don’t let that stop you from wearing bright-coloured sets they give you a different personality.
And who says you can’t wear dresses in winter, choose materials like cotton, wool, jersey and more. Then style with cardigans and cute winter coats.
Go rock the winter sister!
